It has been a difficult start for Manchester United manager Louis Van Gaal. His side is currently sitting second in the Premier League, but the team has been heavily criticised for their performances. To turn things around the Dutchman has admitted that they may dip into the January transfer market to make some new signings.
The Red Devils priority is signing a new left-back due to the injury of Luke Shaw. The young Englishman is unlikely to recover from his injury before the season ends.
Van Gaal is looking to bolster all other areas as well and could look to sign new players in January to help the push for a title bid. One player, they are reportedly currently scouting is Fulham’s young French forward Moussa Dembele.
Highly-rated
The highly rated 19-year-old is attracting a lot of interest from some big clubs. It is believed that United have not made an official move yet for the exciting teenager but are looking to do so in January. The deal would include Dembele staying at Fulham until the season is over and then join the team over the summer.
So far Dembele has played for Fulham 27 times and has represented his country in all age categories. He is one of the most exciting young players in world football and has excellent dribbling skills.
Not short on forward talent
Manchester United are not short on exciting young forwards, so the move comes as a surprise. They now have the world’s most expensive teenager Anthony Martial and academy product James Wilson in their senior squad.
Adding Dembele to the team will give the Red Devils one of the best young forward lines in the world.
It is believed that German champions Bayern Munich are also interested in the player. They have sent scouts to some his games to assess how the player is progressing. They have been very impressed and are looking to make an offer over the summer if the player is still available.

Spurs to get into the mix?
The player is now settled in the capital so it may be worth having a punt on Tottenham Hotspur to sign the player. Currently, his older brother plays for Spurs, and they have a policy of playing exciting young stars in their team.
If they do go for the French teenager, is may be too tempting for him to turn it down.
January window could be crucial to boost United’s title chances
Currently, sports betting systems have United as one of the favourites to win the Premier League title. If they are to sign new players in the January transfer market, a great betting strategy would be to put money on them to succeed.
The Red Devils always finish a season strongly, and if they manage to get a few name faces in, they will be in an excellent position to challenge for the title.

It would an excellent addition to the squard. will #LVG be signing new guys. Man Utd actually need a CB, LB,CB and one more attacking middfielder as Wayne is ageing. Many Utd fans will be happy if the like of Adnan Januzaj returns to OT. Am glad that Martial is back but LVG is boring utd with his toothless tactics.Carrick/Bastian & Morgan should not start, any pair can’t play together cos none creates chances thus preventing scoring.
