Huddersfield Town’s goals were scored by Thomas Smith, Nakhi Wells and Elias Kachunga, while Tomer Hemed scored the lone goal for Brighton and Hove Albion.
Because of this result, league leaders Brighton and Hove Albion fail to capitalize on Newcastle United’s recent hiccup against Queens Park Rangers but still maintain their slender lead at the top of the table while Huddersfield Town’s prolong their promotion challenge in fifth place.
