Riyad Mahrez

Leicester City’s winger was a standout player in their 2015 campaign, however with Leicester failing to replicate last year’s success, it seems Riyad Mahrez could be on the move.

With Alexis Sanchez’s future at Arsenal still trivial, the Gunners should look to secure the Algerian ace as a possible replacement.

With 4 goals in 9 Champions League games for Leicester, Mahrez has shown that he has potential, and can perform on the big stage as many football betting sites have displayed by giving him odds as high as 8/11 to join Arsenal.

Therefore, the North London club should target the 26 year old this summer to exploit his talent. And with the talent Arsenal currently has at the club, Mahrez will flourish.

Kylian Mbappe

Kylian Mbappe, the Monaco striker, really broke onto the scene this season with his impressive finishing ability. The 18 year old’s clinical finishing gave him 6 goals in 9 games in the Champions League, and domestically, 15 goals in 29 games.

Mbappe should definitely be on the radar for Arsenal, especially with Giroud unhappy at the club, and perhaps on his way out, Arsenal would be lacking depth up front, so the Frenchman would be a welcome addition at the club.

If Arsenal do secure the Frenchman, then they’ll have one of the prolific prodigies of the modern game.

I mean, the last time Arsenal got hold of an up-and-coming, young French striker, he became their all-time leading goal scorer… I think his name was, something along the lines of, Thierry?

Alexandre Lacazette

Alexandre Lacazette would be a perfect fit for Arsenal, his ability and agility upfront for Arsenal would be devastating.

The 26 year old is a proven goal scorer, who’s been dominating the Ligue 1, in his 30 goals for the club this season, he’s scored 28 goals, and in 8 games in the Champions League, he’s bagged 6. The numbers don’t lie.

Lacazette is a powerhouse upfront. An investment in the Lyon striker would likely pay dividends.

With Arsenal looking to get back into the Champions League, Arsene Wenger should be zoning in on Lacazette.

Djibril Sidibe

With speculation that Hector Bellerin could be on his way out of North London, Arsenal’s full-back replacement could be Djibril Sidibe.

After winning Ligue 1 with Monaco, and reaching the semi-final of the Champions League, Sidibe is one of a few Monaco players who’ve attracted attention from Premier League clubs. Reports also speculate that Tottenham and Manchester City are also interested.

The 24 year old’s not one to shy away from becoming involved in the team’s attacking build up. Last season, domestically, the Frenchman averaged 79.9% passing accuracy.

Why is this relevant and crucial for Arsenal?

Arsenal play with an accelerated tempo, they have players who are quick and attack minded, so if you can release them players with a perfect pass, then Arsenal will cause havoc for any defence.

Jack Butland

The Englishmen has been impressive for Stoke City, and it has earned him a place in the England squad. Now with David Ospina looking unlikely to remain at Arsenal, the Gunners should be looking for a replacement.

Arsenal already have a well experienced goalkeeper in Petr Cech, but squad rotation is vital considering Premier League teams play 38 games domestically, not even considering FA Cup, EFL Cup, Champions or UEFA League matches.

The 24 year old has already impressed England boss, Gareth Southgate, who has previously worked with him at England’s U21s.

Southgate expresses, “Jack is a goalkeeper of high potential .”

Arsenal should look to secure Butland, as he could learn alot from a club which has consistently played top flight football.

Being around big name players such as Ozil, and in an atmosphere where you’re expected to perform to your highest degree, adds much-needed pressure, which would be in the interest of Butland and help mould him into a formidable shot stopper.
