According to reports, Birmingham City are closing in on the signing of Kerim Frei.
The 23 year old winger previously played for Fulham and has fallen out of favor at current side, Besiktas.
As reported by the Birmingham Mail:
“Birmingham City have today been linked with a move Besiktas winger Kerim Frei.
Turkish reports suggest that the 23-year-old is close to completing a 2.3 million Euros switch to St Andrew’s.
Frei joined Fulham’s Academy in 2010 and went onto make 33 appearances for the club in all competitions, including 23 in the Premier League.
He headed to Turkey in September 2013 but has fallen out of favour. Besiktas manager Senol Gunes appears happy to let him leave after just nine appearances this season.”
