Messi has been in the cover of EA Sports’ FIFA gaming series for the past four years, but it seems that someone is going to be replace him in the cover of FIFA 17.

Let’s look at some of the players who could be in the covers of FIFA 17.

Jamie Vardy

Jamie Vardy is most likely to be in to cover of the UK version of FIFA 17 since he will be awarded the best player in the Barclays Premier League. If he finishes the league with the same momentum, we could see him takeover the covers in all the versions of FIFA 17.

Cristiano Ronaldo

Ronaldo currently has a contract with Konami’s Pro-Evolution Soccer but since Neymar is most likely to be in the covers of PES 17, the Real Madrid winger could switch to FIFA 17.

EA could attract a major fan base if Ronaldo is featured in the game’s front cover.

James Rodriguez

It has been speculated that Rodriguez has already been approached by officials from EA Sports with a contract to appear in the covers of FIFA 17. The Real Madrid superstar has a ton of potential to perform in the highest level of football, so we can really see himself as a long term replacement for Messi.

Sergio Aguero

The Argentine is already in the cover of the FIFA games alongside Messi in the Latin American version of the game. It would be rather easy for EA Sports to place a player who already has a contract with the gaming company in the covers of FIFA 17.

Who do you think should be in the cover of FIFA 17? Comment.
