Arsenal are trying as much as possible to improve both on and off the field. This has brought about a new commercial deal the club has signed with an online money payment company.
Arsenal signed a new commercial partnership with WorldRemit. WorldRemit posted the new development on their website confirming that they were becoming the Official Online Money Transfer Partner of the Gunners.
The deal will mean that WorldRemit will have access to brand Arsenal on advertising hoardings, TV interview backdrops, and acquire global digital and social media rights across the club’s online and mobile platforms. As part of their giveaway for the new deal, they are going to give fans tickets to travel to London to watch Arsenal live at the Emirates.
Arsenal’s Chief Commercial Officer Vinai Venkatesham was quoted as saying: “This is an exciting new partnership…We share mutual values and look forward to working together to build their global presence through our broadcast, social and digital channels which reach millions around the world. We look forward to a long and successful partnership.”
Arsenal’s off field activities are really increasing these days. From getting a new chief scout in Sven Mislintat to getting a new fitness coach. In fact, it’s only Santi Cazorla that is ruled out on a long term injury at the Emirates at the moment, an unusual situation as Arsenal usually see three to four players out within the same timeframe.
The arrival of Jens Lehmann back to the club as a back room staff and Per Mertesacker joining after the end of this season shows the club is making backroom progress which will eventually manifest in the first team. This new commercial deal is a big one, one in which Arsenal have always fallen short of.
