According to reports, Sheffield Wednesday are interested in signing Bristol Rovers forward Matty Taylor.

The 26 year old star has also been linked with the likes of Wolverhampton and Queens Park Rangers.

As reported by HITC:

“According to the Daily Mail, Sheffield Wednesday and Wolverhampton Wanderers are just two of the clubs on alert over a release clause allegedly in the contract of Bristol Rovers striker Matty Taylor.

Taylor, 26, made his name in non-league football with North Leigh, Forest Green Rovers, Chester and then Bristol Rovers, where he has enjoyed a remarkable rise.

The striker hit 20 goals in his first season with the club to fire them to League Two, and he smashed 28 goals in 50 games last season as Bristol Rovers made it two promotions in a row.”
