According to reports, Wayne Rooney could be heading to China next summer.
The Manchester United legend has reportedly been offered a world-record £1 million a week deal if he makes the move.
As reported by The Telegraph:
“The big news today is that Wayne Rooney is set to leave the club in the summer, heading for the only place that is willing to pay him as much as he wants. That’s right: China.
United are keen to get their record goal-scorer off their hefty wage bill and, with the Chinese Super League looking for more ways to boost its profile, Rooney could be next to move.
He is said to be open to a move, with as much as £1m-a-week on offer. That’s all according to the Sun.”
