According to the latest reports surrounding the Holland international, Manchester United are said to be in talks with Ligue 1 side Lyon over a possible deal for Memphis Depay.
Depay is expected to depart this January after a disappointing spell at Old Trafford.
As reported by the Daily Star:
“Bouhafsi says the two clubs are locked in negations over a permanent move for the Dutch flop.
Several clubs are interested in taking the former PSV Eindhoven attacker on loan but United only want a sale.
And Lyon are doing all the running at the moment with an opening bid.
Bouhafsi tweeted: “Lyon have made a bid for Memphis Depay. United and Lyon negotiating.
“However, the clubs are far away from reaching an agreement.”
United signed Depay for £25m in 2015 after Louis van Gaal brought him to Manchester.”
