Felipe Anderson to Manchester United has been a mainstay in the transfer rumour mill, but it could be about to happen.

Unsettled

The Lazio man is reportedly unsettled, and the Italian club have had enough; they’re willing to listen to offers of around the £40 million mark for their star player.

United’s ambitions of signing the playmaker were crushed two summers ago when he penned a new contract with Lazio, with interest in acquiring his signature put on hold.

The 23 year-old has been capped by Brazil once and is believed to have a future in the national set up.

Sensational start

Anderson had made a sensational start to the season, netting twice and turning provider seven times; however his form has dipped since then as the signs of his restlessness become apparent.

United will have to fend off interest from Inter Milan, however. Milan have the backing of a billionaire owner and a bidding war will not frighten them off.

Hoping for a better Anderson

If United fans do get to see Anderson don the red of Manchester, they will hoping he proves more fruitful than their previous Brazilian Anderson who has slipped into anonymity.
