According to the latest reports, Sevilla are interested in signing the on-loan Samir Nasri on a permanent deal from Manchester City next summer.
However, the La Liga high-flyers will have to pay around £20 million to secure the Frenchman’s services.
As reported by talkSport:
“The former Arsenal man has been a big success in LaLiga so far, scoring three goals and impressing many with his performances in midfield.
And that has persuaded Sevilla, according to El Confidencial, to start working on a deal to sign Nasri permanently next summer.
The 29-year-old’s current loan agreement reportedly has no option-to-buy clause, meaning the Spanish club will have to negotiate a fee with City.
The Premier League giants are said to want around £20million for Nasri, and such an amount is within Sevilla’s transfer budget.
But the La Liga side would need the former Arsenal to agree to a wage cut, with Man City currently covering a portion of his wages and his current salary of over £100,000-a-week out of their price range.”
