The top five European leagues get a lot of attention and rightly so. They are home to the greatest talents in world football who can entertain huge crowds and command the highest salaries.
La Liga is the only one of those leagues that can even get close to competing in popularity with the English top flight. Clubs like Barcelona, Real Madrid, Atletico, Valencia and Sevilla would give the big six sides in England a good run for their money.
The popularity of the Spanish game is often attributed to the style and technical ability of the players who compete on a weekly basis to win La Liga. There are obvious talents such as Lionel Messi and Antoine Griezmann but the next generation of players also appear to be exciting.
With that in mind, O-Posts has, using InStat Football data, ranked the best five rising talents aged 23-years or under, based on chances created.

In En-Nesyri, Leganes have a player who has supreme talent.
Still only 21-years-old, the Moroccan became the first ever Leganes player to score a hat-trick in La Liga when he netted three against Real Betis in February 2019.
This season, he has created 21 chances while scoring eight goals from 22 shots on target. As a striker, he is not a conventional playmaker but can make opportunities for himself and his teammates.
Team: Real Madrid
Age: 22

Marco Asensio is the latest winger to impress at the Stadio Bernabeu. Still only 23-years-old, the Spaniard who came through the Mallorca youth system looks like he will play a big part in the future success of Los Blancos.
Real are always one of the favourites in La Liga betting markets but this season has seen the side struggle following the exit of Cristiano Ronaldo in the summer. Asensio is one of those who can return them to the top and the 22 chances he has created this season suggests he is on track.
Team: CD Leganes (on loan from Real Madrid)
Age: 20
Chances created: 22
At just 20-years-old, Rodriguez looks an exciting prospect. Another of the Leganes squad to be making a name for himself, he has created 22 chances this season already.
The Real Madrid loanee will be hoping his performances this season will catch the eye of Zinedine Zidane and help him break into the Los Blancos squad next season.
Team: Celta Vigo
Age: 22
Chances created: 24
Brais Mendez is a real talent and one that Celta may choose to cash in on sooner rather than later. Leicester City tried to sign the player in 2016 and were unsuccessful. Higher bids are likely to come Celta’s way this summer.
Having created 24 chances for a struggling side, his stock will keep rising as will his price tag.
Team: Sevilla (on loan from AC Milan)
Age: 23
Chances created: 27
Andre Silva has created more chances in La Liga than any player aged 23-years or under and that won’t surprise many.
The Portuguese star has been excellent since signing for Sevilla on loan, with the striker creating 27 chances in the Spanish top flight. The Andalusian side will likely want to make the move for the international permanent this summer and who can blame them?
