International games come in again to kill the vibe for all English Premier League lovers this means no football for one weekend to come, but feels like forever.

As of now we have a clear picture of how tough the top four will be this season.

Many  — including football betting tips websites — would say that Chelsea, Manchester City, Arsenal and Liverpool are real contenders for the top four, but this is the EPL where anything can happen.

We are accustomed to seeing Arsenal never missing top four, but we ought to remember that Mourinho and Pochettino are side by side waiting to pounce.

Statement of intent

Liverpool began the season beating both Arsenal and Chelsea respectively, this was a statement of intent to all big guns that they are going for the title.

Right now, they are at the top of table with 26 points from 11 games. Let’s see what will next time the league returns.

After succumbing to both Liverpool and Arsenal, Chelsea were written off by many pundits.

Now they have taken everybody by surprise since losing 3-0 to Arsenal. We saw a change of formation from 4-1-4-1 to a grand master 3-4-3 which has helped them keep five clean sheets consecutively.

Now, they have 25 points and are second in the league.

Never say never

Never say never, the world is patiently waiting to see what Guardiola’s next move will be.

We cannot write him off he is may be second to none in the business so let’s expect a reaction very soon.

With some big margin victories in the beginning everybody thought Manchester City will be the next Invincibles, but not anymore.

City sit third in the league with 24 points.

Tight contest

Super Sunday giants and London rivals Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur battled it out at lunch time (UK time) with both teams in form they shared the spoils.

This has left Arsenal fourth in the league on 24 points. This is a tight contest — you snooze you lose.
