As we all know, Paris Saint-Germain have struggled to fill the void left by Zlatan in the summer.

The reigning league champions currently sit third in Ligue 1 and are currently six points adrift of early pace setters Nice and have reportedly pinpointed Atletico Madrid star Antoine Griezmann as the ideal candidate to replace Ibrahimovic.

Stumbling blocks

There could be a couple of stumbling blocks.

One being the fact that earlier this season Griezmann put pen-to-paper on a new deal which includes a £88 million buyout clause thus meaning Les Parisiens will have to break the world transfer record to land their man.

The second is the fact that he is also wanted by Manchester United.

United to jump in?

Jose is looking to dwindle down his squad and offload some ‘deadwood’ with Depay, Schneiderlin, and Rooney all in the firing line which would indeed raise some of the funds needed to enter the bidding war for the PSG target.

All up to Griezmann

Will Antoine fancy going home at the ripe old age of 25? Does he fancy a shot at the Premier League? Or will he remain seemingly happy at the Vicente Calderon?

I suppose we’ll just have to wait and see.
