According to reports, Everton will hand a contract to the suspended Jose Baxter once his ban comes to an end.
Baxter was given a year-long ban last year after a routine test he took found traces of cocaine, which was the second test he had failed.
As reported by Sky Sports:
“Jose Baxter is to make a surprise return to Everton after being offered a 12-month contract when his drugs ban ends in the summer.
The 24-year-old, who came through the youth system at Goodison Park, is currently serving a year-long suspension from football.
Traces of cocaine were found in a routine test following a night out in February last year, the second test he had failed, and he was consequently banned.”
