The English football season
is drawing to a close,
It’s all getting very exciting,
with teams battling for
their cause.
The top teams in the
Premier League are fighting
for a place,
A chance to play in the
Champions League, ‘oh,
what a race!’
Then there’s the Championship
where teams are aiming
high,
They all want to win promotion,
this they can’t deny.
A chance to play in the Premier
League with the elite of
teams,
To also earn more money is
evident in their dreams.
I’d like to say well done
to Brighton, they’ve now
won promotion.
But some teams are at
despair, relegation and
confrontation!
There sadly is a limit on
teams to win promotion,
They’ve all played well
all season showing great
devotion.
But I would like to say
good luck to my own
personal teams,
Blackpool FC and little
Fleetwood Town they’re
chasing their ‘ambitious’
dreams!
Who will win promotion?
who will be relegated?
The closing of the English
football season - it should
be celebrated!
