Manchester United are eyeing a wonderkid that has been dubbed the ‘new Luka Modric’, according to TalkSport.
Nikola Moro has attracted interest from Europe’s best and is subject to a battle between the Red Devils and Benfica.
At just 19-years-old, the central midfielder has made an impressive 36 appearances for Dinamo Zagreb and has earned plenty of plaudits for his performance.
The Verdict
Zagreb are reported to have already turned down a £12.5 million bid from Shakhtar Donetsk for their talent and are unlikely to let him depart without a considerable fee.
Given United’s serious financial muscle, Jose Mourinho would be able to outmuscle Benfica if the two translate interest into intent.
A potential deal could materialise in the prospect of United signing the Moro, but loaning him back to his current club for another year of development.
Regardless of where he ends up, it is clear that the footballing public should be keeping a keen eye on this youngster’s development.
