Juventus have made inquiries about the availability of Jack Wilshere, report The Mirror.
The Englishman is available to negotiate pre-contract agreements given he only has a a few months left on his original contract.
It had been reported that Wilshere was close to agreeing a new deal at the Emirates, with his basic salary reduced but the new contract being predicated on bonuses.
Yet interest from the Serie A champions could turn his head.
The Verdict
Juventus have a tradition of bringing highly-talented players at little cost to their budget. In the summer, they brought in Blaise Matuidi from PSG for 14 million; for reference, Swansea City paid 17 million for Sam Clucas.
Juventus have an ageing squad and many are tipping them to invest well in the summer and add fresh impetus.
The chance to join the biggest club in Italy, continually fight for trophies and have a genuine chance in the Champions League may lure Wilshere from the mediocrity that stagnates Arsenal.
