Chelsea v Bournemouth (Prediction 3-0)
Chelsea are unbeaten in their last eight Premier League games, with Bournemouth also on a fairly good run of not having lost in any of their last five in the league, including a win over Arsenal.
Chelsea will be looking to put the pressure on second place Manchester United, should they fail to beat Tottenham at Wembley tonight.
Everton v Leicester (Prediction 1-0)
Everton could really do with a win right now, Leicester probably less so, home advantage also a help for the Toffees here.
You’d also expect Leicester to be without Riyad Mahrez, with his future up in the air after requesting a transfer as a result of bids from top of the league Manchester City. Everton to edge it.
Newcastle v Burnley (Prediction 0-1)
I’m expecting Burnley to take this, Newcastle are probably the favourites with home advantage, but I think this is a game where Burnley will perhaps hope to end the current poor run of results in.
A very typical 1-0 to Burnley.
Southampton v Brighton (Prediction 1-1)
Both teams could do with a win, Southampton held Spurs to a draw at St Mary’s last time, an impressive result given the freedom Tottenham can score with when on top.
But I think this will be a tight one.
Manchester City v West Brom (Prediction 2-0)
It’s difficult to predict City games as a United fan, I want to be hopeful of them losing and find reasons why that can happen but they are just so ruthless when things are going right, and things have rarely gone wrong for them under Pep Guardiola this season.
I think Pardew’s West Brom will perform with credit but City should be winning this one.
Stoke v Watford (Prediction 1-1)
Both sides have recently made managerial changes, the relegation battle is wide open! You could say anyone from ninth down are still in danger, Watford’s form has been poor and they’ve found themselves just three points clear of the relegation zone, despite being eleventh.
Stoke are in the relegation zone, even after picking up a valuable win on the last matchday. A tough one, but I’m going for a score draw.
Tottenham v Manchester United (Prediction 1-2)
United have largely struggled to get wins in the big away games under Mourinho, this season specifically, using the games against Liverpool and Chelsea for example, I think Mkhitaryan was largely to blame.
We played him in a position that with United’s defensive attitude required him to be alert and find Lukaku whenever possible. He struggled and left Lukaku very limited on the number of chances he was allowed.
These are the games where I hope that Alexis Sanchez makes the difference, starting immediately tonight.
I love nothing more than being right, so hopefully I get a couple of correct predictions tonight, thank you for reading!
