It’s no longer news that Aaron Ramsey won’t be at Arsenal next season. The Welshman is expected to depart for Juventus in the summer. Ramsey’s decade at the Emirates has been mixed.
Despite some underwhelming years, the 28-year-old still managed to charm his way into the hearts of Gooners. Calm in possession, he made the difference offensively albeit rapidly improving defensively. His tally of 38 league goals in a little above 250 games attests. Replacing such fan favourite isn’t a mean task.
Especially at a time, the transfer market Is littered with inflated commodities. Arsenal boss, Unai Emery, has reportedly earmarked Barcelona midfielder, Denis Suarez as his successor. The deal seems shrewd on the surface.
Embed from Getty ImagesSuarez is similar to Ramsey in style and physique. As the Spaniard’s ex-student at Sevilla, he understands the manager’s philosophy. Something that Ramsey hasn’t quite managed to wrap his head around. Instead of splash almost £20m on the Barca outcast, Gooners have spotted another Spanish gem, Pablo Fornals. The reasons: he’s much younger and cheaper.
I want Pablo Fornals at Arsenal to replace Santi Cazorla.

Miguel Almiron and Pablo fornals is in combined fee of less than £55million.Why not buy them both Arsenal? And get a decent defender to compliment Sokratis

The Gunners have been following Fornals for some time now. He has a release clause of £17.8m which is within reach of the North Londoners. At 22, there’s still plenty years of football left in him. An established first-team regular with Malaga before paying his own release clause of £10m to join Villarreal in 2017, Fornals boast of three goals and two assists this season in 17 games.
Like Ramsey, he is attacking midfielder with a strong shot from a distance. Fornals is able to hold onto the ball well and loves a tackle. For the Yellow Submarine, he wears the number 8 jersey, a shirt number that will become available at Arsenal in the summer.
A full-fledged Spain international, Fornals has an impeccable technique and fancy footwork. He doesn’t just showboat for the sake of it. The 22-year-old is renowned for that all-important end product.
