A bit of a football rewind here in homage to tonight’s Merseyside Derby between Liverpool and Everton, which will be held at Everton’s Goodison Park.

In this video created by YouTuber Choi1892Lfc, goals and highlights are shown from a Merseyside Derby match held on the 21st of November of 1970.

Liverpool won this match 3-2 at Anfield. Liverpool’s goals were scored by Steve Heighway, John Toshack, and Chris Lawler, while Everton’s goals were scored by Joe Royle and Alan Whittle.
