News about Ozil signing contract extension received with much excitement by Arsenal fans. For days now, so many sources including talkingbaws have been reporting that Mesut Ozil might have finally agreed to sign a contract extension at Arsenal.

The news has really gotten all Arsenal faithful’s elated especially at this period when his performance has been on the rise. Ozil contract negotiations with the club have been on for almost a year and no breakthrough was recorded in the past. Now, it seems it’s just the right time to make the signings and announcement that is left.

The 24 goal in 123 league appearances attacker performances have alerted so many suitors as he have been on the radar of Manchester United whom are keen to reunite him with his former manager, Jose Mourinho.

And the moment that popular Arsenal YouTube vlogger, ArsenalFanTV tweeted about the story, many Arsenal fans jumped on the tweet to announce their joy about it.

“There are rumours going around that Mesut Özil will sign a new deal with Arsenal, but Alexis Sanchez will leave the club” tweeted firm the handle, @ArsenalFanTV.

The response to the tweet shows lot of fans still want Ozil to stay at the club longer than his current contract that expires this summer. All that is now left is an official statement from Arsenal to confirm these rumours with a new contract signing pictures or deny it. Most fans will prefer the former.
