As the transfer window is about to open, clubs are negotiating deals now to make things easier by January.
That is the case with Juventus and Emre Can. Reports have it that the German international have agreed a deal to join Juventus by the end of the season when his contract expires at Liverpool.
Spearheading reports of the move is Italian Ria sport, via Turkish-football, claiming a deal worth €4m per year for five years has been cut out for the 23-year-old midfielder.
All he has to do now is run down his contract at Liverpool and move to Turin. With six months left on his contract after January, a pre contract will be signed at the turn of the year for him to move to the current Serie A champions come July.
Liverpool are however optimistic that he could still sign a new deal. This optimism is based on the fact that he has now openly expressed his desire to leave Anfield. Some negotiations might be ongoing behind the secnes but it is expected that a decision will be made come January about his future.
Bought for £10m from Bayer Leverkusen in 2014, Liverpool have had a player who served the club with his heart on his sleeve, churning out great performances throughout his four seasons at the club.
Talk about his exit have not deterred Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp from fielding him in games this season as he has been part of Liverpool’s great season so far.
