According to TeamTalk, AS Monaco star Tiemoue Bakayoko has rejected a new contract offer from Ligue 1 high-flyers AS Monaco.
The 22 year old midfielder has been heavily linked with a move to an elite European side with Chelsea and Manchester United reportedly among his most interested suitors.
Back in December, Bakayoko rejected any talks of a departure away from AS Monaco in an interview with Eurosport:
“I have had six good first months, but the season is not over. I will not leave Monaco this winter, that is a certainty. I do not want to leave. ASM is a beautiful institution. Certainly, the Premier League is a dream, but I have no reason to leave this winter.”
The highly-regarded defensive midfielder is reportedly valued at £40 million.
