What on earth was that?! That was simply another poor match against a “small” club, this time Stoke City. How many times have we seen this from the Gunners? How many times have we see the team fail when the going gets tough? How many times have we seen the team lose points against teams that they should easily brush aside? Yeah, it’s the sixth season, our sixth straight trophyless season.

I know that our title chances were very, very slim and probably over weeks ago, but there was still a glimmer of hope and a small chance, but of course as has been the scenario for the past 6 seasons, the Gunners blew it. The performance was yet again a disgrace and it displayed the fragilities within the team, especially in defense  Djourou had a poor, poor game and gets most of the blame for all 3 goals, Walcott was invisible, Arshavin was asleep, etc, etc, etc. Am I the only that wishes that every player should have the same passion as Wilshere? Fine, he loses his head at times, but he’s the most passionate player on the pitch and has a die- hard attitude. I like him and I wish all the players had the same passion and desire, but of course that’s not the case.

Wenger has some serious work and rebuilding to do in the summer, the issues are obvious, but still after 6 years, he still hasn’t rectified them. He needs to loosen up and lose that stubborn attitude of his, enough is enough, the issues are obvious, every fan and person who watches Arsenal can see it, so how on Earth one of the greatest managers in the world can’t? We need men, we need leaders , we need winners, players who would fight to win and for the Gunners. I won’t be jumping on the “Wenger Out” brigade, I still believe he’s the man for the job, but he needs to loosen up and lose that stubborn attitude of his.

Wenger reported has good money to spend, he needs to start using it…. or it will be a 7th trophyless year.

P.S. How about giving it a go on Juventus’s Chiellini? Tough, aggressive and a fighter…. he’ll be perfect for the Gunners.

A short video of what our club is all about:

What do you think? Is Wenger still the right man for the job? Who should he buy? Who should he sell? What are thoughts after the Stoke City match? Please share your opinions.

Cheers and take care,
